today i redeemed my pier 1 giftcard for four small gold and pearl frames. i want to convert them from sitting-on-a-table frames to wall-hung frames and put photos of my delirious family in them (mom & dad, k&b&hannie, ryan&jane, ellipses&ersand). then i'll hang them on the wall above my dressers in my bedroom.

someday i want to paint my bedroom with a golden sheen, too. sparkly!

i debated getting a set of four yellow&red lobster/shrimp/crab/crawfish prints on woodblock to hang in my kitchen but decided i'd rather still have cheesy vegetable art as an homage to the wallpaper i destroyed.

earlier this month i was notified that i was one of twenty winners of rachel ray's everyday favorites sweepstakes for october - i was being awarded a fuzzy throw from pier 1. i forgot that i had even entered, so i was fairly amused.
